Bhuk lists independent kitchens and home chefs. Each kitchen sells its own food under its own FSSAI registration and is the seller of record. Bhuk (a STARTIONS startup) provides the marketplace and the kitchens' software; it is not a party to the sale.
You pay the kitchen directly: online through the kitchen's own payment gateway, or in cash. Bhuk holds no money and takes no commission. Cancellations and refunds follow the policy the kitchen shows at checkout and on your order page; a copy of the version you accepted stays with the order. Wrong or missing items are the kitchen's responsibility under that policy.
Your name, phone, address and orders are stored by the kitchen you order from, in that kitchen's own database, and are used to prepare and deliver your order and to message you about it. Your Bhuk account (if you make one) keeps your sign-in, saved addresses and an index of your orders across kitchens. The Bhuk team sees the marketplace and anonymous order stages and areas, never a customer. Searches are counted by pincode and craving without any identity. Kitchen plans and invoices are handled by STARTIONS LLP (GSTIN 27AFTFS0527E1ZT).
A kitchen must hold a valid FSSAI registration or licence and is responsible for its food, its menu claims, its riders and its taxes. Plans are yearly, invoiced by STARTIONS LLP with GST; access follows the paid period plus a grace period, after which the workspace is read-only except for exporting your data. The "Checked by Bhuk" badge is a check of the licence number, not a food-safety audit.
