FAQ

Questions, answered

Is Bhuk free for customers?

Yes. You pay the kitchen for your food, delivery (if any) and GST. Bhuk adds nothing.

How do I pay?

Online through the kitchen's own gateway (UPI, cards, wallets), cash on delivery, or at the window for pickup, whichever the kitchen offers.

What is the OTP for?

Delivery orders get a four-digit OTP on the order page. Share it with the rider at the door; the order is marked delivered only then.

Can I cancel?

Until the kitchen accepts your order, yes, from the order page. After that, call the kitchen; its policy is on the checkout page and your order page.

Why rate food and delivery separately?

So a late rider never drags down a good cook. Delivery issues are tagged apart and never touch the dish's rating.

What does "Checked by Bhuk" mean?

The Bhuk team checked the kitchen's FSSAI licence number against the register. Every kitchen must hold one to go live.

How do batches work?

A home chef opens N portions of a dish for a day and slot; you pre-book before it closes, the chef cooks exactly that many.

What do kitchens pay?

A yearly plan (Standard, Premium or Ultra Premium) with a GST invoice from STARTIONS LLP. No commission on orders.

Who sees my data?

Your orders and details live in the kitchen's own database. Bhuk's team sees the marketplace and anonymous order stages, never a customer. Your Bhuk account keeps only your own order index.

Do kitchens get a subdomain?

Kitchens live at bhuk.in/yourname (one address per kitchen or brand), listed in the directory.
